Our Story
From the beautiful Ochil Hills in the heart of Scotland comes an innovative new skincare and gift range; luxurious, natural products with a distinctively Scottish twist.
Siabann and our Planet
We have decided to use recycleable PET plastic bottles for our liquid products as they are safer in the bathroom and when shipping our products worldwide. We have, however, created a set of refills for both your liquid soaps and our reed diffusers so you can reuse the bottles as many times as you like, before you pop them into your recycling bin. We package our web orders in cardboard and paper packing... feel free to reuse! We love to see innovative repurposing of our packaging.
We don't use palm oil in any of our products. It is a small gesture, but every one counts, to send the message that by using alternative, more sustainable oils and butters, the widespread growth of palm oil, and the destruction of natural habitats can be reduced.
Our Scottish Inspiration
Scotland is a country of contrasts. From the highest mountains to the deepest lochs, from glorious beaches to ancient woodlands. When developing Siabann and Bearr Man products, my inspiration has come from all around. Our national flower the thistle gives us the light, but nourishing, Thistle Oil that is in all our luxurious products.
Spending many happy holidays on the beaches of the East Neuk led to the evolution of our signature essential oil blend... Juniper & Lime.
Long walks around Loch an Eilein in the Cairngorm National Park inspired the Bearr Man range, ancient pines, the fragrance of Cedarwood, the need to tame the ancient grizzly bears!
Taking the children to the beaches of the Western Isles inspired the seashore home fragrance range and our gorgeous blue bottles that evoke the blue sea and sky.
